Stephen R. Dennen, lifelong Tauntonian lost his long ongoing battle with cancer on April 13, 2024 at the age of 68. Stephen to family, Steve to friends and Stevie to his father in law, was known for his boundless energy and was always at the ready to lend a helping hand to someone in need whether it be family, friends or a stranger with a flat tire. Dedicated employee of Sysco Food Services he gave them his all everyday for 40 years! He was the very definition of steadfast, dependable, reliable, loyal and brave. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother in law, he was no doubt a good Christian man. Happy places for him throughout his lifetime included Horseneck Beach, camping in the White Mountains of N.H., visiting Disney World or “jetting off” to the Hawaiian Islands. Back at home you could always find him working in his yard or tending to his vegetable garden, and of course he proudly shared the fruits of his labor with all. Stephen will be forever be loved and remembered by his wife Paula (Rocha) Dennen, daughter Melissa and his late son Derek, grandchildren Kyan, Anastasia and Jackson. He is also survived by his siblings Michael his wife Debra Dennen, Richard and his wife Carol Dennen, Kathleen Dennen and Pamela and her husband Lou Andre. His in-laws Karen and her husband George Charette, Gregory and his wife Cindy Rocha, Susan and her husband William Crosier. His Godchildren Matthew Dennen, Nikki Ribeiro and Chloe Charette. He also leaves numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. His late parents Jean and Richard Dennen and in-laws Eva and Leonard Rocha. In keeping with Stephens wishes there will be no funeral services.
